Students from all over the world, interested in research, meet each other in Groningen to present their research or to participate in the extended scientific programme. Besides workshops and lectures there is a various social programme that gives you the opportunity to get to know each other in a more informal way, to meet different cultures and to extend your scientific and social network.

The Infrastructure & Logistics committee (I&L) is responsible for the screenplay during the conference, the accommodations, the social programme, the UMCG- and citytours and the Post Congress Tour.

During the conference we will provide you options for accommodation. You can stay with students from Groningen or in an international student accommodation. Staying with a student from Groningen will give you the perfect opportunity to explore the dynamic city of Groningen. Furthermore, we can give you advice about hostels around the city.

On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday there is an exciting evening programme with dinners, informal drinks and several fantastic parties. On Tuesday there will be a welcome party for all the participants and housing providers. On Wednesday we will go out for a special dinner at a fantastic location and on Thursday the Global Village Party will take place. This night you can show us how great you country is, so bring some national snacks and put your traditional costume on! We all do our very best to make every night a night to remember!

Last but not least, at Friday the Post Congress Tour will take place. This day you will get the chance to see the beauty of the Netherlands. You and about 100 foreign participants can join us for a day of fun and relaxation after a week of effort. We ensure that – with our creativity and logistics skills – you will have a spectacular end of a great week!
