Infrastructure & Logistics

People interested in research, from all over the world, meet each other in Groningen to present their research or participate in the extended scientific programme. Besides going to workshops and lectures there is a various social programme. This gives you the opportunity to get to know each other in a more informal way, to meet different cultures and to extend your scientific and social network.

The Infrastructure & Logistics committee (I&L) is responsible for the screenplay during the congress, the accomodation, the social programme and the Post Congress Tour. The months prior to the congress, we arrange all the different locations within the University Medical Centre of Groningen, the lunches, coffee breaks and the UMCG- and citytour.

During the congress we'll provide you several options for accomodation. You can stay  with medical students from Groningen, in a hostel or in an international studentaccomodation. Staying with a medical student from Groningen will give you the perfect opportunity to explore the dynamic city of Groningen. We'll make sure your stay in Groningen is as comfortable as possible.

During the congress, on tuesday, wednesday and thursday there is an exciting eveningprogramme. For example special dinners at great locations, informal drinks and several fantastic parties. We all do our very best to make every night a night to remember!

Last but not least at Friday the Post Congress Tour will take place. This day you'll get the chance to see the beauty of The Netherlands. You and about 100 foreign participants can join us for a day of fun, laughs and relaxation. We ensure you - with our creativity and logistic skills- you'll have a spectacular end of a great week!
