Monday 4th June
If you arrive on the weekend or on Monday you can have a drink in a café in the center in Groningen on Monday evening! This is a perfect opportunity to get to know other participants of the congress, the ISCOMS organization and First Year Crew.

Tuesday 5th June
On Tuesday the majority of the presenting participants will arrive. After registration at the UMCG, you will be taken to your accommodation. You then have the choice to relax, go on a tour through the UMCG or join the sightseeing activities through the city of Groningen.

Also for the participants of the Pre-course there is the possibility to be guided through the city centre in the afternoon.

Wednesday 6th June
After an interesting day full of lectures and workshops, there will be an exciting evening programme!

You can enjoy an elaborate buffet, with lovely accompanying music on the background. After the dinner there is time to walk through the picturesque gardens and to have a drink with the other participants and of course the ISCOMS organization.

Don’t forget to bring some cash money for the party, because there is no ATM at the castle!

Thursday 7th June
The congress has come to an end, but the social programme certainly not! After the closing ceremony there will be a buffet followed by the Global Village Party. This evening has been a success for many years! Everyone can enjoy a great party wearing their traditional clothes and tasting different snacks from all over the world. This is a great way to share your culture with the rest of the participants and enjoy a party with everyone else who will be wearing their traditional clothes. The ISCOMS organization will of course also be wearing a traditional Dutch outfit and provide everyone with traditional Dutch food. So: Make sure you bring your home country’s traditional clothing and food! Since there are no more lectures planned for the next day, this is a party that will last until the very early hours of the next day!
